It has been a crazy month for all of us in product and tech, the plan was to equip Digi with the crucial services that will make the product more scalable and easy to use. We started off with just 2 services (AePS & mPOS) last year and currently, we have a total of 4 services tacked to the platform. We have come a long way and the entire credit for the same goes to the teams who have worked incredibly hard day in and day out.
We have launched UPI and Link Based Payment services for the ease of merchants to accept payment digitally. These newly launched services are not chargeable and do not have any monthly rental involved. We are also certain that these new set of services will help our merchants increase footfall in their shops and will also help them with retention of customers, who use to drop-out earlier due to lack of these services. A merchant can download the application and start using them without any hassle.
Pushing the B2B digital payment boundaries
UPI – One of the most crucial service to be launched on Digi is Unified Payment Interface. We all are aware of the revolutionary benefits of UPI and how it has changed the landscape of Indian payments. Through our Digi platform, a merchant can accept payments from their customers instantly using UPI. A merchant will also have an option to schedule a payment for a later date; for the ease of customer.
A customer can now easily pay to the merchant either by scanning a QR Code or via VPA (Virtual Payment Address).
We aim to provide retailers with digital, financial and business solutions such that each small business and retail store can use technology to expand their business offerings. Want to know more? Register today.
Link Based Payments – This payment mode enables merchants to send payment links via SMS, WhatsApp or Email to their customers. The customers then pays to the merchant with the payment option of their choice which are credit card, debit card, UPI, wallets, Net banking or EMI. Link-based payments are an extremely secure payment service that will further streamline the merchant’s business operations.
